Weeks before Bozadir of Dwale is due to marry his beloved Egrelda she is kidnapped by the evil Wasp of Norg, who wants to make her his own Queen. Bozadir dashes off on a reckless quest to rescue her, helped only by a handful of trusty warriors, a talking sword and two uninvited guests.
