Norg
Description
Norg is a land of reddish-brown soil, low, undulating hills, thorny growth and a coastline comprising largely of wide mud flats. Its capital, Vespula, is built within the unoccupied part of a live wasps nest, rather frightening but none the less architecturally stunning. Red folk and wasps have lived alongside each other quite amicably for countless generations, which can be seen in the special bond that exists between the Sabuli warriors and their mounts.
Norg relies heavily on importing its needs, which mainly come from its fertile vassal state of Gydar via the fortified port of Dotarn and then by sea to Goruk. What it does not get from Gydar it takes through piracy and raiding.
Norg is a land of powerful, independent Warlords, whose main occupation is making secret alliances with, and plotting against, each other. The disastrous civil war between Wasp and Webwort, followed by Wasp's defeat by Bozadir finally opened their eyes. Though Blackwing, the current High Lord, was as much to blame as any he has worked hard to rebuild the armies and convince the Warlords that unity and the conquest of richer, neighboring lands is the way forward. Norg is almost ready to do just that.
