Valeeme

Description

Valeeme is one of the 'Blue Lands (also Grathelle and Remonia) and is perhaps the most warlike of them. Valeeme is particularly hilly, lending itself to the building of strong hill-forts, of which there are many. The forts protect a number of independent city states which evolved long ago for reasons none can now remember. The main objective of a city state is to steal the beetle herds of your neighbours through supremacy of arms and then make sure all the other states in Valeeme know about it. The city state of Valeria is currently at the top of the tree. The city states are so wrapped up in their own bickering that hostilities are rarely carried out beyond the borders of their own land. It is highly unlikely that Valeeme will ever become united as one nation and as such remains vulnerable.
